Legit facts should stand

So how do You mean its less constructive, to have a fact about the person being sentenced in court for a narcotics crime, than it is to tell what products he has made advertisments for?

It is a fact with well renowned references, that You can check Yourself. http://gulfnews.com/news/gulf/uae/courts/swedish-model-tv-personality-jailed-for-life-in-dubai-for-for-possessing-21-grams-of-cocaine-1.1277910 http://www.aftonbladet.se/nyheter/article18183753.ab http://www.zimbio.com/photos/Farzan+Athari/People+Choice+Awards+2010+Red+Carpet/HPkr3zTLIuk

If You have issues with that? its not to stand in the way for facts. Further there is a court decision and according to Wiki´s rules then it is legit to publish it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.227.59.31 (talk) 12:46, 16 January 2014 (UTC)

I removed the redirect of KQBT from the KQTM page because those (KQBT) call letters have replaced KKRW Houston as of January 15, 2014. Greetings, thanks for helping out at Nawab Faizunnessa Govt Girls' High School, but there's an earlier version that is properly sourced that I made yesterday or so, so I've reverted it to that. Some accounts/IPs which claim an affiliation with the school keep reverting it back to their preferred promotional and poorly-formatted version, so if this persists we may end up locking the article until they go away. Hello @71.82.209.86. Please see my reply on Talk:Charlie Ray. You seem to have a fundamental misunderstanding of Wikipedia policy. I can relate to this, I used to be new as well, and Wikipedia policy, customs and mannerisms can be hard to grasp at first (or sometimes, even now). However, given those circumstances, you may not want to be throwing around accusations and reverting people's edits. ~ twsx | talkcont | ~ 08:46, 22 January 2014 (UTC)

Obviously you are so set in your misappropriated ways that you do not take the time to realize the actuality of the matter. The actress Charlie Ray has acted in recent films, thus the previous "shes did uun ting so les duhletes eet" caveman mentality is grossly outdated and extremely inappropriate. The page needs to stay in it's original form, not a redirect, and updated for current roles. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.82.209.86 (talk) 09:09, 22 January 2014 (UTC)

Yes, vandalism can be quite hilarious sometimes, although it is altogether annoying and should not be done. I have not done very much with vandalism protection, because I have not caught very much of it. Although, I find vandalism on Wikia frequently, since that site is watched less, and I do a lot to stop that. Where are the most likely places to find vandalism on Wikipedia? Regarding wikipedia. If I make a change they call it an edit war. If you "think" and change without any research or mentioning any references. Other users are edit warring and warning me of changes for which I give references. Want to ask what muslims believe or just want to make wikipedia a place for your thoughts and opinions. Did you read the Quran before making changes. The Quran is the definition of a muslim. Other users of wikipedia select other books which are not any authority on the subject to write the opinions of others or themselves. I think you are wrong. So you revert it yourself. I am getting tired of having even small changes with references reverted by others who think they can do an edit war for their opinions. I shall be telling about my experience with wikipedia to others. Have fun with wikipedia as another western opinion media propaganda dissiminator. There are many other better websites for information available which shall be referred to others as being more reliable. I feel that on wikipedia the majority opinion is now prevalent. Not the reality or original sources. It is similar to science. If the current so called western scientists were told initially that gravity is a pulling force, they shall believe it and not accept the other theory that it is a pushing force. They have no basis and shall stick to what they have learned or believed even if the measurements state otherwise. That is why so many self proclaimed scientists nowdays make statements like : "The the observations do not agree with the theory. " Such statements immediately make the person a non scientist by definition. But the people think they are above facts and definitions and measurements nowdays. Enjoy your wikipedia. I shall spend my time in other areas more useful to others. Regards, Khawar Khawar.nehal (talk) 19:04, 26 January 2014 (UTC)

The revert you made to definition of a muslim based on what you "think". Khawar.nehal (talk) 22:09, 30 January 2014 (UTC)

I'm rather certain that that is a gross misrepresentation of what I did, but in any case, you'll have to be a little more specific on that. I sometimes make edits/reverts to hundreds of articles a day. I can't exactly remember which ones they were. And seeing as you're wildly accusing me of stuff, I don't really feel the need to put an effort into researching this myself. ~ twsx | talkcont | ~ 07:56, 31 January 2014 (UTC)

Are you sure about this?

[1]? Philip Trueman (talk) 13:03, 28 January 2014 (UTC)

Hey @Philip Trueman. Huggle sometimes seems to miss intermediate reverts. Combine that with me not double-checking afterwards, and that's what happens. Thanks for the notification, I've reverted myself now. Cheers. ~ twsx | talkcont | ~ 13:06, 28 January 2014 (UTC)

George Ryley Scott article

Hello, in response to your proposed deletion of this article: I have removed the BLP tag, since this is not a biography of a living person. George Ryley Scott was born in 1886 and if still alive, would now be 128 years old.

Scott is cited as a reference in a number of Wikipedia articles. His books are for sale on Amazon and are published in reprints by Routledge and Random House. I believe therefore that it is of interest to publish information about him and to build up a biography of him.

I propose to leave the article up as a stub to see if more information gathers on to it.Wwallacee (talk) 18:35, 31 January 2014 (UTC)

Kyiv Naming Change

Hi there,

I see that the change I made yesterday had been reverted. I found this page with the discussion on the topic - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Kiev/naming. The discussion has been closed and archived and I was wondering if it were possible to reopen it. The argument from the side opposing the change seems to be that "Kiev" is still a more commonly used name (despite the fact that all official US and Canadian documents now say "Kyiv"). To prove it they use the number of Google hits on either word. What they fail to understand is that a lot of people use Wikipedia when they are trying to find out the correct spelling of the word, so it ends up being a vicious cycle: the Wiki won't change the name until people start using the new one, and the people won't start using the new one until the Wiki changes it. Not to mention that Google underlines "Kyiv" as a grammatical error and corrects it to "Kiev" (I don't know whether this has anything to do with one of the Google founders being from Moscow). For a lot of Ukrainians it is important to set their country apart from Russia, which has dominated Ukraine for centuries both politically and culturally, as well as has done everything it could to suppress the Ukrainian language. Not to mention, that writing the name of the Ukrainian capital in English using Russian transliteration is downright offensive to those who have been trying to revive the Ukrainian culture and establish it as an independent entity. Independent specifically from Russia.

Thanks much, Valentine Azbelle. (born and raised in Kyiv) Azzzy (talk) 01:05, 30 January 2014 (UTC)

I request that you consider not re-tagging 'Christopher Amoroso' for speedy deletion without discussing the matter on the appropriate talk page. Honestly though, great work over the past few years, I've genuinely impressed by your level of activity. Optakeover(Talk) 14:10, 11 February 2014 (UTC)

Vandalism?

How is my edit vandalism? I edited the Volkert van de graaf page. The man is a violent murderer who killed a politician to instill terror. He is a terrorist. The whole article is biased, putting him down as an "Activist."

If he's an activist, so is Osama Bin Laden. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 5.104.113.198 (talk) 15:04, 13 February 2014 (UTC)

Hello @
BLP-article is a terrible idea and is looked upon as vandalism. ~ twsx | talkcont

Money Laundering treaties

Hi, no, it wasn't vandalism nor a mistake, I simply transferred the content of "Money Laundering treaties" to "Money laundering treaties" since there didn't seem to be a way to simply move the page (the button wasn't appearing) Drounal (talk) 14:38, 14 February 2014 (UTC)

Hello @
edit summaries in the future. A page being blanked without any sort of explanation, well, I assume you can see how that would look bad. :) Cheers. ~ twsx | talkcont

No worries, I flagged the page for removal. Drounal (talk) 14:43, 14 February 2014 (UTC)

"A Matilde é uma chata e cheira a bacalhau" means "Matilda is boring and smells like cod". Not duplication, just vandalism. Thank you. Drmies (talk) 15:19, 14 February 2014 (UTC)

@Drmies: Guess I didn't notice that. Anyway, important thing is that it's gone. Cheers. ~ twsx | talkcont | ~ 15:21, 14 February 2014 (UTC)
Yep. They made another one like that and I've blocked them indefinitely. Drmies (talk) 17:11, 14 February 2014 (UTC)

Greetings once again

Once again, you're back at the right time. 123 edits/10 reverts per minute on Huggle. Lock n' load. Happy vandal-sniping! Optakeover(Talk) 14:27, 25 February 2014 (UTC)

Hey @Optakeover! Hah, yeah, I saw you snipping faster than me a couple of times already this past hour-or-so. ;-) GOod job, cheers! ~ twsx | talkcont | ~ 14:31, 25 February 2014 (UTC)

69.178.193.81 was probably the worst case of vandalism/trolling I've seen in my entire tour of duty. Thanks for reporting him. Optakeover(Talk) 15:36, 27 February 2014 (UTC)

Heya @Optakeover. Yeah, with all the redirects that is actually really disruptive. There was one a couple of weeks ago who mass-tagged pages with a maintenance tag. Think it was something around 200 articles. Given that those were only tags and not redirects, I would say this one's worse. I can recommend User:Kangaroopower/scripts/Mass_Rollback for such cases, works like a charm. In this case though, you folks were faster. :) Cheers ~ twsx | talkcont | ~ 15:42, 27 February 2014 (UTC)
Haha. Now that's really some clean-up work, going through all his edits. Optakeover(Talk) 15:50, 27 February 2014 (UTC)

Hussein Sabbour

Unfortunately, I've had to decline the BLPPROD tag here, as there were links in the article which mentioned the subject at the time of placement. While they are not reliable, independent sources, BLPPROD is so narrowly written that this doesn't qualify. You may wish to consider taking this to AfD. Thanks! --j⚛e deckertalk 18:16, 27 February 2014 (UTC)

Omid Jame

Hi. If you can, please check Omid Jame 's article again. I've added to it more sources. There is the same article in persian wikipedia, but there isn't any problem, I don't know why this article is going to be deleted. thank you for your attention... Zahra sadeghi (talk) 20:58, 6 March 2014 (UTC)

Hi!

I couldn't help but notice you took down my link to Gibbons and my brother who currently holds a record in Football Manager 14 in the Robbie Gibbons page, I am disappointed but I do understand.

Here is the rewritten text for the https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Focus_Management_Consultants_Limited page thanks again

Focus Management is a recruitment company that finds people jobs in the food industry. Focus Management, the food industry recruitment company set up by Stephen Jones and Michael Staniland in 1990 in Manchester. Carrus was later rebranded and given the name Focus Graduates. Focus Graduates forms part of Focus Management Consultants which is made up of a number of specialist divisions all recruiting into the food and drink industry.[1]

Hey @Alanchar1978. As requested on IRC, I've put the text into the article. As mentioned before, you may want to work on it a little, so it won't get deleted again. Cheers! ~ twsx | talkcont | ~ 22:14, 11 April 2014 (UTC)

Laura Marano and external media

Just a note to explain why I reverted your edit where you left the summary "removing link to copyrighted image". The use of the external media template at that location was appropriate as that is the intended purpose of that template as documented at

WP:ELNEVER is "Linking to websites that display copyrighted works is acceptable as long as the website has licensed the work, or uses the work in a way compliant with fair use." The linked to site is IMDb, a site normally valid for external links and the image hosted at that site is not a copyright violation when hosted by IMDb. We can't host that image on Commons and no fair-use is possible for a living person so this is the only way that an image can be provided where one is expected. The external media will need to be removed when a valid free-use image is found for this bio article but is permitted in the article until then. Geraldo Perez (talk

Hello Twsx. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Irdeto, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Article is about a different subject, although redirecting to Naspers may be appropriate. Thank you. kelapstick(bainuu) 12:13, 17 June 2014 (UTC)
