Speedy deletion tag of Munder Sharma

Hi! I'd like to ask that you please use extra caution when tagging pages for speedy deletion. The speedy deletion criteria are very specific, and should not be used unless the article meets the individual criterion in every way. For example, you tagged this article under

A7 tag because it was about a person and did not assert their significance. Please let me know if you have any questions. Cheers, Nick—Contact/Contribs

No need to go to AfD for a clear-cut case such as Elee Kay. Speedy deletion as NN was all that it needed, plus an autobio warning to the user. -- Alexf(talk) 17:39, 11 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

New user page tagging

Thank for your edits to Wikipedia (WP)

I notice you are tagging some new users articles for speedy deletion via

off-putting
.

I would suggest welcoming them first, using templates like{{

Welcome-auto}}, as I did here for examples. These welcome messages also direct the editor to more information to help them create more appropriate new pages, or edit them more correctly. Other welcomes, warnings and similar tags are available via a tool called WP:Twinkle. 220 of Borg 19:39, 14 September 2015 (UTC)[reply

This edit here to the page creators talk-page doesn't appear to have worked as it isn't visible on the page. I think you need to add the deletion criteria to the template. 220 of Borg 20:03, 14 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

New Page Patrol

NPP is not for beginners. I notice that with only 225 edits to mainspace that you are a very new user and that you would generally need a lot more experience before trying your hand at patrolling new pages. There are easier tasks such as Counter Vandalism that would enable you to get your feet wet on maintenance tasks more easily. Now that you have over 200 mainspace edits you can enroll at the

WP:CVUA to learn more about it. Happy editing! --Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 07:53, 15 September 2015 (UTC)[reply

I have to agree with Kudpung here. A bit more experience would be good for you. 220 of Borg 10:18, 15 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion declined: Derek Tait

Hello Variation 25.2. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Derek Tait, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: his work has been featured in newspapers and magazines around the world.is a credble assertion of importance sufficient to preclude A7. Wikipedia is a widely-used reference work and managing conflict of interest is essential for ensuring the integrity of Wikipedia and retaining the public's trust in it. As in academia, COI is managed here in two steps - disclosure and a form of peer review. Please note that there is no bar to being part of the Wikipedia community if you have a conflict of interest; there are just some things we ask you to do (and if you are paid, some things you need to do).

Disclosure is the most important, and first, step. While I am not asking you to disclose your identity (anonymity is strictly protecting by out

Brianhe has asked me to take a look at some things and I agree that some of your edits appear suspiciously like paid editing. Can you please explain where you obtained the dates of birth for Tracey Wilen and Stevie Mackey? I've been unable to verify them from the sources cited (granted I can't access all of the Wilen ones) and also been unable to find them anywhere else online. Thanks SmartSE (talk) 10:37, 6 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Smartse:, I understand your concern as I have asked other editors the same question in the past. In general, you may want to know that subjects generally have private websites managed by admins who know well about them. Therefore, I simply contact admins who provide personal information as soon as my noble intention is known. It's that simple. - Variation 25.2 (talk) 18:22, 8 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:Tracey Wilen, a page you created, has not been edited in 5 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request

of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at
