• You first gave this source [5] of Business Today, no doubt that is reliable but they are not trackers, look inside it they are citing Manobala Vijayabalan who himself cite his tweet with Production House. Secondly see inside you will see Sachnilk as there source which are considered Unreliable.
• The second source is questionable,
• The third souce again relying on Manobala Vijayabalan.

And secondly I am not against updating Salaar box office, even I want that someone should edit it because many people wants to know please take it to Talk page and ping everyone who are involved in edit warring and request administrators to please update that section. Also, according to the logic you are applying none of the sources applied to the current box office numbers on Salaar's WP page are reliable, two of those are even marked as most unreliable sources in the list of WP:ICTFSOURCES . That means the current box office number on Salaar's Wiki page is fake as it doesn't include any of the credible sources you have mentioned. My point is current sources backing the box office number are all irrelevant/unreliable. So what do we do about that? Shouldn't we remove that box office number until the actual WW total figure comes from one of the reliable sources? As currently it's nowhere close to being authentic due to the unreliable sources.

Also, Please provide the proof backing your claims about Manobala citing production house and BollywoodHungama box office numbers being authentic as they never claim the authenticity. I will wait. VarunKumar35 (talk) 06:09, 29 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

• Manobala Vijayabalan is an independent box office tracker and he not even once cited any production house. If you have a proof of your claim please let us see. Secondly, BollywoodHungama itself relies on different sources including producer's figures and are not at all independent industry trackers. For reference see their disclaimer at the bottom of every box office update.
