Hey, thanks for the info on Metropolis in Turkey.
I ran into a reference to a Metropolis near Izmir (see
Izmir - or here
for my particular interest in it). Since it looks like Afyon province is about 250 km from Izmir, I'm guessing they're not referring to the same place.
In any case, it looks as if Metropolis, Illinois could have some competition for the title of Superman's hometown. Whitejay251 07:37, 4 December 2005 (UTC)
