The left-sided midfielder was released by Olimpia in August 2011[2] and he joined Atlético Choloma for the 2012 Clausura.[3] He returned to his original team Platense to play in the 2012 Apertura.[4]

International career

Hernández made his debut for

friendly match against Colombia and has earned a total of 12 caps, scoring 1 goal. He has represented his country at the 2003 CONCACAF Gold Cup.[5]

His final international was a November 2004 FIFA World Cup qualification match against Costa Rica.
