  • Keep. Expanded and added sources including the 2018 Associated Press article on the return of the American Samoa women's football team to a FIFA Women's World Cup qualifying tournament for the first time in 20 years, which was widely syndicated to publications including NBCSports.com. The AP article includes a quote from Alma Mana'o, who was co-captain of the American Samoa squad, and also holds the record for number of caps for American Samoa (7 total, 1 more than her sister Ava). To be honest, I'm not sure if Alma's sisters' and cousin's Wikipedia articles would survive AfD on their own, but out of four of them, Alma has just enough coverage to justify keeping hers. Given the challenges in finding coverage on Oceania teams and athletes, I think this is one that just manages to make it over the line thanks to the AP, and perhaps the Women's Football Task Force or the Oceania projects would be able to uncover additional sources. There is arguably a little more than that now in the article. Cielquiparle (talk) 14:28, 1 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
