• Merge - to either to Idaho State Historical Society, or to Idaho Statesman. I've done a fairly extensive BEFORE using several variations on his name; did not find anything to support notability. It seems he was important to Idaho history as a photographer/photojournalist, otherwise I doubt the Historical Society would have 3,000 of his negatives, prints and additional materials, however there is not enough about him online or in a newspaper search to support GNG nor NARTIST. He should be mentioned somewhere in the encyclopedia though; I added a small entry to supplement his name that was already in the Idaho Statesman article. • Oppose merger -- Idaho State Hist Soc no doubt has many collections in its archive. It might be appropriate to have a "list of collections" section, but such a list could only have the odd sentence on each collection, Equally a merger to the newspaper that he worked for would upset the balance of that article. It is wrong to say there are no sources. There are sources and I would expect a State Historical Society's publications to be accurate, though they would not be independent of the repository. I am not sure that we can have an article supporting every deposit in every museum/archive, but 3000 negatives is not inconsiderable. Weak keep. Peterkingiron (talk) 14:27, 22 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
