verifiability issue that mandates deletion. Sjakkalle (Check!) 18:18, 5 October 2022 (UTC)[reply

I find no evidence that this was ever anything but a 4th class post office. Mangoe (talk) 15:55, 14 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

KEEP Appears to be a census-designated populated place at one point, ergo

I don't think that's true. CDPs are a relatively recent thing, and if there ever was one here, it should not be a matter of "appears to be". Listing in GNIS has been deprecated for some time, see
WP:GNIS. Mangoe (talk) 18:34, 14 September 2022 (UTC)[reply

  • Delete - The only source that provides any level of detail describes a post office established in the home of, and named after, Isaac Hall; there's no mention of anything else much less a community. I'm not seeing evidence of a CDP (do we have a source for that?) and GNIS isn't a reliable source for the "populated place" feature class. –dlthewave 02:16, 15 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete Halls Corners is notable at a local level, but nothing more than that. TH1980 (talk) 23:39, 24 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • Merge to Springfield Township, Allen County, Indiana, since it's mentioned there. Does not appear to be independently notable, but there are enough references to the location as a place of residence in late 19th century and early 20th century Indiana newspaper articles that it's a plausible search term. (apologies for the lack of links, but Newspaperarchive.com is not being entirely cooperative with me.) Jahaza (talk) 01:46, 29 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Merge to
WP:ATD. This seems to be the best option at present. If and when better sources are found that establish notability, the article can always be easily re-created.4meter4 (talk) 16:11, 5 October 2022 (UTC)[reply
