Luxury rail in India
Article is just a list of various luxury trains in India, most (or maybe all) of which have their own article(s) anyway, plus there is already an where they are listed. - Keep – As this is essentially a list article, qualifies per WP:LISTPURP, as evidenced in part by the 2,093 page views the page has received in the last thirty days. Conversely, the Category:Luxury trains in India page has only received 30 page views in the last thirty days. As such, the article is clearly of worth for Wikipedia's readers as a valuable information source and navigational aid. North America1000 23:08, 12 August 2017 (UTC)]
- Comment @Northamerica1000: You can't really know how many have clicked a wikilink from other articles, expecting the article to be what the title suggests, but instead they just get a duplicated list of existing articles. Unless you're going to be the one to redevelop it and make it worthy of an article (history of luxury trains, luxury services and modern day usage etc), will this article remain unchanged after the AfD concludes? As it stands, it would seem the article will be kept, which is only not a bad thing if it brings to the attention that it needs rewrtiting from the ground up. - Keep as this is a valid list of luxury tourist trains. You can verify the list at the Indian railways website. These tourist trains are a very important part of Indian railways and tourism and the topic is well known to all Indians. I agree that the article is not very well written. It currently duplicates a bit of information and it can be presented in a better manner. Perhaps a table could be added with details of date of opening, route, kilometeres and other details. I would expect readers to arrive at one Indian luxury train article, then use the list article (rather than the category) to find other luxury trains serving India... and that seems to be what the pageview stats suggest is happening.
