Just a suburban development built around 1960. Searching is pretty hopeless given commonality of the name. Mangoe (talk) 20:26, 12 March 2024 (UTC)

- Delete it's on topo maps from after 1960 sometime and someone put up a little "Northgate" sign next to Northgate Road, but this appears to be a small housing development which got into GNIS because it was never incorporated into Columbus, Indiana proper and is therefore unincorporated. I don't think it passes ]
- Delete First mention of of the place as a subdivision, no earlier named place found https://www.newspapers.com/article/the-republic-north-gate-subdivision/143312713/ GNIS provides no citation to explain their behavior.James.folsom (talk) 23:34, 13 March 2024 (UTC)
