Nominator's rationale: The categories here are intended to roll up articles for NCAA championship-winning team seasons for a given year, e.g. 1946–47 Holy Cross Crusaders men's basketball team and 1947 California Golden Bears baseball team for 1947. The intersport connections are rather tenuous, thus this seems like over-categorization. There are few additional issues here, even if these categories were deemed to be due in principal. First, the parent category is misnamed with "templates" at the end. Second, it would make more sense to organize these around an academic years, not a calendar years. For example, Category:1947–48 NCAA championship seasons would contain articles for champions of the 1947 fall sports, 1947–48 winter sports, and 1948 spring sports. Lastly, the major football champions categorized here (e.g. 1947 Michigan Wolverines football team) were not technically NCAA champions as the NCAA has never issued its own championships for the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision and it predecessors. Nominator's rationale: There currently is no Dynasty (franchise) article, but this category is a container for 3 related TV series, Dynasty (1981 TV series), The Colbys and Dynasty (2017 TV series).
