Nominator's rationale: Underpopulated stub category with no indication of approval by WikiProject Stub Sorting. As usual, the bar for entry to a dedicated stub category is 60 articles, but there are only 29 here and a list comparison between the relevant parent categories failed to find any other stragglers -- and because the bar is 60 articles, stub categories have to be approved before they can be created, and are not free for just any editor to create on a whim.
The template is fine, but should just sort the articles into the appropriate parent categories rather than having its own dedicated stub category for only half as many people as it requires. Bearcat (talk) 18:06, 14 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Nominator's rationale: Underpopulated stub category with no evidence of approval by WikiProject Stub Sorting. As usual, stub categories require at least 60 articles to be filed in them before they can be created, and are not free for just any editor to create on a whim for just a small handful of articles -- but there are only six people filed here, and a scan of the articles in the Greenlandic people stubs parent failed to find 54 other writers.

Nominator's rationale: Underpopulated stub category with no evidence of approval by WikiProject Stub Sorting. As always, stub categories are not free for just any editor to create on a whim for just four or five people, and require there to be 60 articles to be filed in them before their creation is justified, but there are just four people here with no evidence that 56 others can be found to populate it.
The Greenlandic sportspeople stubs category, meanwhile, has no other contents besides the handball category, and in fact a stub template has never even been created to file anybody in it with anyway -- and while the general "Greenlandic people" parent does have a small handful of sportspeople in it, that still wouldn't get either category to 60.

Nominator's rationale: These categories only contain sub-cats of buildings & structures, or churches. The sub-cats are already within Category:Architecture in Sri Lanka via Category:Buildings and structures in Sri Lanka, and are directly within the other relevant parents, so these barely-populated categories add nothing for navigation. – Fayenatic London 17:31, 14 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

WP:SMALLCAT which exists solely to contain a list -- and even the list is almost entirely redlinks with just one exception, so even adding the one bluelinked entry to this category still wouldn't make the category large enough. This would be fine if five or six of the people in the list had their own biographical articles to file here, but it does not aid navigation at all to have a category just to contain a list.
