Propose renaming Category:Fictional parasite characters to Category:Fictional parasites
Nominator's rationale: Adding "characters" at the end is just unnecessary, plus I don't see why this should be restricted to (individual) characters that are parasites, rather than making it inclusive of any and all parasitic creatures and organisms in fiction, including species of parasites. Nominator's rationale: For some reason, the last time I nominated these categories, the discussion went nowhere without a clear consensus. I still think that these current names are unnecessarily long, so let's make them shorter and more concise; I do not think that the addition of "and revenants" in these category titles are strictly necessary.       • That is a fair question and appears to be a very justified question too. I really thought I had checked this in the previous discussion and had seen revenants in here but my memory has deceived me. Revenants appear in Category:Corporeal undead and in Category:Revenants but not here. Hence support nomination. Marcocapelle (talk) 21:32, 7 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
        • Very easy. In the short story category (which I created), Cool Air (1928) is about an undead doctor who has interaction with others 18 years after his natural death. The Death of Halpin Frayser (1891) is about a man strangulated by the revenant version of his own mother. Herbert West–Reanimator (1922) is about Frankenstein-style reanimated corpses and only Wikipedia uses the term "zombies" for them. Dimadick (talk) 07:19, 16 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
