I am nominating this for featured list because it failed its first nomination due to lack of support, and I believe it's to the point that it can pass. This also happens to the last stage in the creation of a Maya Angelou FT. Her 85th birthday is April 4, so I'd like it to happen by then. Thanks for your consideration. Removed periods. I wasn't able to find a source that states the year of the nomination, so I removed it from the lead. Tables are such a weakness for me. This table doesn't need row scopes, so it's not necessary to include them, right?

Comments much improved from the initial nomination, good work.
  • "longest-running appearance (two years)" presumably the list is updated more frequently than annually so do we know the actual number of weeks (for example)?
This isn't in the list, and when I looked for the source, I saw that it's from Angelou's webpage, something I'm trying to avoid here. So I cut it from the intro. Then because I wanted to mention at least one honor in a different area, I added Angelou's appointment at Wake Forest.
  • "Pulitzer Prize Nomination" nomination doesn't need to be capitalised. Check the others.
Only two, fixed.
  • "Horatio Alger Award" notes ends in a period but none of the others do...

  • "[NAACP)" needs an opening parenthesis not bracket.
Got next three. The last one was just stupid.
  • Refs 16, 18, 26 "1928—" should be an en-dash, not an em-dash.
  • Ref 33 has a spare z.
  • Ref 35 needs a space after the title.
  • BBC is not a work, it's a publisher.
Got all of the above.
  • PDFs in refs normally have a format=PDF parameter added or if you're not using {{Cite web}} then you should put (PDF) manually in the ref.
Chrome, regardless of whether you put the PDF in manually or not, shows the PDF icon, as per refs 8, 38, 40. Is that true for the browser you're using?
