A non-free photo that is used for decorative purposes as it does not describe the murder that the article is about, but instead pictures a happy family. Fails Wikipedia:Non-free_content_criteria 8 as its omission would not be detrimental to understanding. K.e.coffman (talk) 07:58, 20 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep Omission is detrimental. The article is entirely about them. Without the photo, it's difficult to paint a mental image of the events when reading. The image also depicts the ethnicity, social class, and the quintessential all-American family exterior they maintained. The contrast of this look with the lunacy of the crime is largely what has driven interest in the case. All individuals except Chris are deceased so no free equivalent. • Keep since it depicts both the victims that have no free equivalent and the murderer, also showing their relationship, in an article about the victims, the murderer and their relationship. Aspects (talk) 04:11, 22 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
