I would like to have the character extracted from the image, i.e., the heart, the red part, the cover etc all removed so that only Hinako remains on a transparent background. Personally I'm more of a fan of the other picture available on commons File:Srinivasa Ramanujan - OPC - 2.jpg. It's a tighter shot, so has more detail, and I think we can clean it up quite nicely, at least enough to be used as a portrait picture for the infobox. PS: Is there any way for me to do this myself in case I wanna file a similar request in the future? Most if not all of these images are from Christies. I once heard something about downloading the direct link?... Not sure how to do that though. My current method is a) making a screenshot at b) drop every individual image into Paint 3) convert the file to jpg. However, not only is this method extremely time consuming, it also completely messes up the resolution of the images based on my experience. - LouisAragon (talk) 01:27, 16 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@LouisAragon: The way I do it is the following:

1. On the webpage, click on the image, and use their tool to zoom in as much as possible.
2. Open up the developer tools for Chrome (ctrl+shift+j)
3. Click on the "Sources" tab at the top.
4. Find the highest resolution of the image you are looking for from the files listed. Open it in a new tab by right-clicking on it.

Let me know if this helps. If not, I can maybe clarify a step better. If done correctly, on the first file you listed, you should find this. – Pbrks ^{(t • c)} 03:59, 16 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
