Wikipedia Edit-a-Thon

Join us at McGill Library during Open Access Week on Wednesday, October 26, 2016. This inclusive, hands-on, drop-in event will show you how to create your own Wikipedia account and edit articles related to science, and more. The theme is Women in Agricultural Science.

2016 is the Wikipedia Year of Science^[1] an initiative to improve Wikipedia’s science coverage.

The drop-in event will take place at the Mac Campus Library, Room 308, Montreal, QC.

• Date: Wednesday, October 26, 2016
• Time: 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm
• Location: Mac Campus Library - Room 308
• Participants: No Wikipedia editing experience necessary. Workshop will open with a 30-minute tutorial and there will be individual help available as needed.

Please bring a laptop with you if you have one.
