Improperly declined Test page submitted to AfC Legacypac (talk) 07:53, 22 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete - Properly declined, because the criteria are stupid. Robert McClenon (talk) 04:14, 23 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. Properly declined. User sandboxes exist for testing; Wikipedians should not get upset when they are used for testing. The failing is the AfC system, among other things their templates, and their templates failure to respond to being used in userspace. These tests, when discovered, can have their AfC template removed. I removed "{{AFC submission|d|blank|u=Lukane123|ns=2|decliner=Theroadislong|declinets=20171226203346|ts=20171226203229}} <!-- Do not remove this line! -->". It is the "Do not remove this line!" line that is stupid. --SmokeyJoe (talk) 03:11, 25 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep it's fine for sandboxes to be used for testing, since that's the point of having them. If people are improperly submitting them to AfC then remove the AfC template and explain the purpose of AfC to them. Hut 8.5 11:31, 25 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete - This is a named subpage of a sandbox, which is a type of user page. Robert McClenon (talk) 01:16, 2 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
...so? Why does that mean we have to delete it? Why can't people use whatever naming convention they want for editing tests? Hut 8.5 07:41, 2 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

So User:Legacypac/Promote my business is deletable as a test but User:Legacypac/sandbox/Promote my business is exempt from deletion as a test? How about User:Legacypac/testtesttest? How many test pages with my link spam and stupid one liners can I make exactly if I include the magic word sandbox in the url somewhere? Legacypac (talk) 08:23, 2 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Sorry, I'm taking these back. User:Lukane123/sandbox is his exempt sandbox, not just anything with "sandbox" in the name (pseudo directory structure). --SmokeyJoe (talk) 09:01, 2 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Blank. I still think userspace pages in general should be blanked. Why not wait for G13? --SmokeyJoe (talk) 09:02, 2 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
