Xiu Xiu Larsen → XXL
No reason to have a redirect that targets a dab page, which does not mention the redirect UnitedStatesian (talk) 23:27, 23 November 2008 (UTC)
The above is preserved as the archive of a RfD nomination. Please do not modify it.Huggle → Wikipedia:Huggle
Do we really need this? And if so, I don't think it should redirect to
- Delete These sorts of cross-namespace redirects are almost always problematic. UnitedStatesian (talk) 23:07, 23 November 2008 (UTC)
- Something was there before. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Huggle . I am not an admin so I dont know what it was. Also, there's quite a few links to Huggle on talk pages and such, though not in mainspace. Soap Talk/Contributions 00:12, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
- Just a comment, you can see what was likely there at WS (contribs) 00:47, 24 November 2008 (UTC)]

- Delete. "What links here" shows mainly talk pages and WP:ANI entries, so a cleanup wouldn't be problematic. By the way, the article Huggle that was discussed in the abovementioned AfD has nothing to do with the Wikipedia anti-vandalism tool. -- Blanchardb -Me•MyEars•MyMouth- timed 18:38, 24 November 2008 (UTC)]
- Soft redirect to huggle at Wiktionary. It's not an extremely common term for a hug, and a soft redirect there seems appropriate. Soliloquialtalk 04:02, 25 November 2008 (UTC)
Cure for autism → Autism
This was apparently meant to be a redirect to
- I just found Autism therapies, which I think would be a good place to redirect it to. I'm not sure if I can withdraw my own RfD but I am changing my "vote" to not supporting the deletion anymore. Soap Talk/Contributions 18:43, 23 November 2008 (UTC)
- Yes, you may withdraw the nomination, especially if you've boldly retargeted the redirect or overwritten it. 147.70.242.54 (talk) 19:52, 24 November 2008 (UTC)]

William Hart(actor) → William Hart (actor)
Implausible typo in name of page Snowman (talk) 15:03, 23 November 2008 (UTC)
- '
Speedy delete' with R3.Delete as an implausible typo -- Magioladitis (talk) 18:00, 23 November 2008 (UTC)
- Question Does R3's "recently created" apply to a page created over 2 years ago? UnitedStatesian (talk) 22:51, 23 November 2008 (UTC)
- Keep. Plausible typo. -- Blanchardb -Me•MyEars•MyMouth- timed 18:46, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
- Keep - too old for R3, but this is a probable typo (people forget a space before the left parenthesis with some regularity). For this reason, it is a useful redirect and should be kept. 147.70.242.54 (talk) 19:49, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
- Keep Without a doubt a useful redirect: I've missed spaces like this rather often. Nyttend (talk) 22:30, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
- Are we going to keep every redirect that lacks spaces? What's the chance someone types the actor's name, forgetting the space and adding "(actor)" next to the name? The search box helps to avoid these problems. -- Magioladitis (talk) 13:01, 25 November 2008 (UTC)
- Delete Similar to Rent (musical boelow, this is apparently the ONLY redirect missing a space. If it were recently created, it would be deleted under R3 no problem; this is not the kind of redirect that R3's recently created carveout was designed to keep. UnitedStatesian (talk) 14:45, 26 November 2008 (UTC)
- Delete unless we plan to add several thousand similarly structured typos. - Jmabel | Talk 20:56, 29 November 2008 (UTC)
- Strong Delete:As per the rationale stated at Rent (musical deletion below. --KnowledgeHegemony talk 12:30, 30 November 2008 (UTC)
(Smt) Sharda Sinha → Sharda Sinha
Procedural. Redirect was prodded. Rockfang (talk) 03:14, 23 November 2008 (UTC)
Reason for PRO-D given was Smt is equivalent of Mrs (or Madame in French). Placing it in () and prefixing to the name is not required. This is one and only biography entry in Wikipedia that has (Smt) prefix. Hence delete. VasuVR (talk, contribs) 06:09, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
- It should be noted (per WP:PROD#How it works) that redirects are not to be prodded, but to be taken here instead if speedy deletion is not an option. 147.70.242.54 (talk) 19:58, 24 November 2008 (UTC)]
- Delete:Yes Smt is another term for Mrs. in Hindi. Useless redirect. --KnowledgeHegemony talk 12:28, 30 November 2008 (UTC)
Template:Heroescharacterbox → Template:Heroes character box
What's the reason for that? Magioladitis (talk) 02:05, 23 November 2008 (UTC)
- Keep seems feasible enough. If nothing else it preserves history, as the template probably started out with the bunched-up name. Ten Pound Hammer and his otters • (Broken clamshells • Otter chirps • HELP) 02:17, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
- Delete There is no history; it is all in the target. UnitedStatesian (talk) 02:28, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
Rent (musical → Rent (musical)
Implausible typo UnitedStatesian (talk) 22:57, 23 November 2008 (UTC)
- Keep. I don't think it's that implausible. I've seen parentheses at the end of URLs get cut off before through no fault of the user. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 08:58, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
- Keep - people forget right parentheses all the time. 147.70.242.54 (talk) 19:49, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
- Then why is this apparently the ONLY redirect in all of WP that has an open parenthesis? Those that happen to be created are deleted under CSD:R3 all the time; this one was simply missed while R3's "recently created" expired. UnitedStatesian (talk) 03:17, 25 November 2008 (UTC)
- Delete, unless someone proposes adding several thousand similar redirects. - Jmabel | Talk 21:00, 29 November 2008 (UTC)
- Strong Delete:People tend to make all kinds of errors. You can't have a redirect for every damn typo. --KnowledgeHegemony talk 12:27, 30 November 2008 (UTC)
