Facepalm

The result of the discussion was moot - an article has been created in place of the redirect. While this should not prejudge any AFD, I do note that it is not a G4 candidate, because the previous AFD was deleted for lack of sourcing - this is not an issue in the article as presented. –xenotalk 16:05, 18 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The page

Types of gestures
. It doesn't appear to have contained other content during its history. There was, at the time the page was created, a single sentence on Types of gestures suggesting that 'Facepalm' is an indication of stupidity, but the page cited no sources to that effect. The sentence has since been removed from the page.

I would recommend either deleting the redirect, or converting it to an article if information on the topic exists. Cnilep (talk) 19:58, 12 December 2009 (UTC) Cnilep (talk) 19:58, 12 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Many thanks to Phantomsteve for his bold efforts. Unfortunately, he cites sources that discuss *facepalm* as a written internet meme and not a gesture. I think it would be most appropriate to move that information to Facepalm, to preserve the useful information. Cnilep (talk) 15:51, 18 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Comment I have removed the information from the other article, and placed a version on the Talk:Facepalm page. I have family commitments to attend to, so if it's acceptable, could someone else move the content (edited as you desire) onto Facepalm and add a stub tag? I might get on Wikipedia later, but I'm not sure. Thanks -- PhantomSteve/talk|contribs\ 15:58, 18 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

In the English Wikipedia, no one will be searching for the Greek title... SchuminWeb (Talk) 00:16, 12 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
