Delete: Currently a "Carrot Top" search immediately redirects to the page about red hair. There is also a page on the comedian, "Carrot Top" that has the exact name (it's not under his real name), but it is almost impossible to find. You might have to search yourself to see what I'm talking about, because I am probably not explaining it very well. Nonetheless the redirect needs to be deleted in my opinion. A search for "cheese" should always lead to the page about "cheese," or the disambiguation page. It should never lead to some obscure thing that is sometimes nicknamed "cheese". — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ijmitchell (talk • contribs) nomination fixed by Thryduulf (talk) 09:36, 13 June 2011 (UTC)
- Keep. The current situation is that Carrot top redirects to Red hair#Modern-day discrimination, which has a note at the top of the section that ""Carrot top" redirects here. For other uses, see Carrot top (disambiguation)." The article about the comedian is at Carrot Top (note capital "T"), which is linked from the disambiguation page. This is a standard way of organising things when the primary topic is covered in a section of a larger article. No pages link to the Carrot top redirect so that shows no evidence of confusion, nor are there any incorrect links to Carrot Top, so again there is no evidence of confusion. The page view statistics are unfortunately case insensitive so it is not possible to determine the relative number of hits, but combined they get a very significant number. - Delete (under the assumption that this will mean people who type in "carrot top" will go to the comedian's page). OP's logic makes sense. When search for this I think they're almost always looking for the comedian's page.--74.138.214.5 (talk) 22:08, 21 June 2011 (UTC)
- Delete I agree with OP's argument, should be either a disambiguation page or, even better, a link to the comedian with a parenthetical at the top explaining that it is also sometimes used as a derogatory against redheads, with a link to the current article it is a redirect to.--stufff (talk) 14:58, 23 June 2011 (UTC)

Delete. Appears to be a non-notable musical group redirecting to a festival where they once appeared. Recently created. — Arthur Rubin (talk) 14:57, 12 June 2011 (UTC)
- Delete. Redirecting a band to a venue they played is almost always going to be wrong. There have been three attempts at an article for Mr Eden Dubstep, all speedily deleted - the first two per ]

Delete. Mainspace shortcuts should not redirect to userspace pages Jayjg (talk) 03:55, 12 June 2011 (UTC)
- Comment. Normally I'd agree, but this is an essay and so it is plausible for it to have a shortcut. Personally I think that it should be kept if the essay is moved to Wikipedia space and deleted if there is no consensus for that move. However that discussion needs to happen first and this is not the right venue for it. Thryduulf (talk) 09:44, 13 June 2011 (UTC)
