    WP:CNR "CNRs are bad because they result in a person (reader) walking around a building (encyclopedia) and falling into the pipework (project space) because the builders (editors) thought cracks in the walls and floors would be useful for them to get around." but our reference desk exists for our readers, so in this case that's an argument for keeping this CNR. Per EHC, the reference desk is a reader-facing location aimed at answering factual questions they have - it is sort of a halfway house between encyclopaedia and project spaces.
