The result of the discussion was retarget to The Angle. Jay 💬 18:35, 21 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

What appears to be the result of a move of material about Gettysburg from a mathematics article by someone not strictly familiar with military history. This results in a search term that is hopeless vague and isn't obviously related to Gettysburg any more than it is Battle of Spotsylvania Court House#May 12: The Bloody Angle, angles in battle lines, or any other such term. Back in 2005, the edit summary redirecting this suggested that it would be "probably better deleted"; I agree. Hog Farm Talk 18:45, 30 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • Retarget to
WP:SPLIT of content from Angle (Special:Diff/9376331) that was added by an IP earlier the same day, being blanked and redirected to the current target later that year as noted by nom. There is an area of the Gettysburg battlefield referred to as "The Angle" for which there is an enwiki article, and it has an entry at Angle (disambiguation). The events and location at Spotsylvania are usually called the Bloody Angle (though I agree, arguably better known then the use of the term 'The Angle' with respect to Gettysburg), in addition to some other uses of the term disambiguated at that page, which is reachable by a hatnote at The Angle. Until/unless it is determined via subsequent discussion that The Angle needs further disambiguation, it seems like the most appropriate target as a primary redirect (though retargeting to Bloody Angle as incomplete disambiguation could also be considered). I share concern that this could have other meanings like angles in battle formations, though none of the articles linked from tactical formation use the word 'angle'. Thus, I do feel like anyone typing this would be seeking some sort of specific battle or battlefield topic and not something more general, and it is a plausible search term. Delete - The redirect implies incorrectly that the target template is for use on Rugby League World Cup articles. It was created through disruptive action by another editor and should be deleted. – PeeJay 13:54, 14 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Misleading. A quick google search reveals "environmental superintendent" is a job title but none of the ones I found look like janitor jobs. Retarget if a better option can be found, else delete. – filelakeshoe (t / c) 🐱 12:12, 14 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Apparently misleading. A quick google search suggests "fenestration engineer" is a type of structural engineering job not a window cleaner. Retarget if a good target can be found, else delete. – filelakeshoe (t / c) 🐱 12:11, 14 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Can't find much evidence that "meditation room" is a commonly used euphemism for solitary confinement. Possibly created as a joke. Sending it here in case there are better retarget possibilities – filelakeshoe (t / c) 🐱 11:53, 14 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I removed the mention at the target as the magazine is completely lacking in notability. This also means that this new redirect is not included in the target and should be deleted as well.

  • Listed here as a synonym of Pucciniomycetes (like Urediniomycetes, which is noted in the lede); however this is the only clear classification I can find - mentions like this are more confusing than helpful. I'm never quite sure about the reliability of BioLib either. Maybe drop at note at Wikiproject Fungi? --Elmidae (talk · contribs) 08:34, 30 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Most Google results for this are the actual summit of Snowbird resort and/or Snowbird Summit Restaurant. While the agile conference is referred to this way, I expect it to be confusing for the majority of searchers. Rusalkii (talk) 04:39, 14 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Implausible search term. This must mean the Giant Food store change based in Landover, Maryland (or Giant Food of Maryland). But without "Food", with the dash, with the postal abbreviation it just seems too vague to be useful. MB 03:25, 14 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
