Early in season 5, why is Pete Campbell frequently sitting in a high school class while the class watches educational films? Did I miss some part that explains that? It wasn't a high school class - although I can see how it would seem to be one based on the age of the others in the room - rather it was a drivers education class. Pete had grown up in NYC and had never learned how to drive. Even with this class Pete's driving was iffy as is played out later when Bob Benson gets a bit of revenge on him by putting him behind the wheel of a stick shift car at the Chevy headquarters showroom.
