and revert. This user is a unique case, as Chunkysdead herself has not made any direct edits, so I would describe this more as meatpuppetry then sockpuppertry. Meilisa "Chunkysdead" Ong (TikTok handle is @Chunkysdead), also known by her followers as "Mother Hen", is a popular TikTok creator with over 2 million followers, who call themselves the "step-chickens". About 3-4 days ago, Ong called for her step-chickens to vandalize Wikpedia. Targeted areas include, but are not limited to:

Common behavior includes references to murder[1] , insertion of the word Step-chicken, and self-promotion so Ong will follow them. From the behavior, this might be an attempt to impress Ong. This is the first time I have ever seen such a large group of people band together to vandalize Wikipedia. I hoped this was going to be a one-day thing, but here we are and it hasn't slowed down one bit.

"Chunky's dead" is actually a reference to a popular meme about Chunky Kong, so it's likely that User:Chunkysdead's username is simply a reference to the same video. --C o r t e x 💬talk 05:31, 4 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • I'm going to close without SPI action - we don't actually know that Chunkysdead the Wikipedia account is the same person as Chunkysdead the tiktoker, so no cause to block them right now. Since this is a wave of social media-induced vandalism, there isn't much value to tracking this as an SPI and checkuser will be useless.
