  • This one is a bit complicated but here goes:
    • The impersonation accounts are on the primary Kingshowman range and using a UA spoofer. It is also exceptionally likely that this is the same person we've been calling the SPI troll for the last few years. They are also exhibiting some classic Kingshowman behaviours.
    • Encyclopedia Logic is on the main Kingshowman range with the impersonation socks. His information is more consistent with previous Kingshowman socks, but the last data we have on this goes back a few years. It's a behavioural match. Also overlaps on one of the other ranges used by the impersonation accounts above. There are some differences in the data, but given the UA spoofer being used and the fact that they're already blocked, I'm fine listing it here.
    • Steven655, Twerk000, and Mew-o.o-Mew are all very likely using proxies/the geolocation here does not make sense, which is an indication that the CU data cannot be trusted. Twerk000 in particular demonstrates some behaviour previously associated with Kingshowman, and given the activity that we have seen from other accounts in this area that have a clear behavioural link to him and the usage of UA spoofers, the CU data cannot be relied on. In simple terms, it's much easier for us to believe that one LTA is back doing the same thing and that he's using proxies for reasons than it is for us to believe that 3 brand new users are showing the same behaviour as a recently re-activated LTA.
  • All accounts  Blocked and tagged. Note for future CUs that this is a mix of behaviour and technical evidence, but I'm fairly confident that these accounts are all him. Closing. TonyBallioni (talk) 19:42, 12 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

BMB_722 was blocked for harassment, but is clearly the same editor as Flashy724 based on their contribution to multiple AFDs, similar position, timing, and 700-series number in user name. Flashy724 was blocked by a CU as a Kingshowman puppet, but not listed in the SPI. Meanwhile TheSandDoctor has restored BMB_722 edits on the very tenuous wikilawyery basis that they weren't blocked as a sock-puppet - which combined with the known pattern of questionable AFD closes such as this make me suspicious that they are related. I don't really see why, they're blocked and figuring out who the original master was doesn't add much. I don't know who a significant number of the LTAs I block are, and I don't think I'm the only person with that view. Based on the log entries of other CUs who have already looked at some of the accounts, these accounts don't appear to be Kingshowman: wrong continent. While Typhoon Namer 325 has already been blocked as an apparent sockmaster, This account appears to be a Kingshowman sock. Either that, or socks of one account have been misattributed to the other. Typhoon Namer 325 and both their apparent socks and those of Kingshowman show identical patterns of vandalism at Tropical cyclone naming by falsely replacing storm names with similar ones. Socks are identified here based on tags, block summaries, and entires at Kingshowman's SPI case page. For Typhooon Namer 325 (and socks): 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.

There is also the pattern of editing at AfD: 9 10, 11

There is also the habit of "playing innocent" when confronted or blocked, often invoking

WP:AGF e.g: User talk:PumpkinEditore, User talk:WeatherPerson26, User talk:Typhoon Namer 325

I won't request a CU here, but I will ping @Materialscientist:, who blocked the account in question.

Behavior is similar to previous Kingshowman (a.k.a Typhoon Namer 325) socks including PumpkinEditore (talk · contribs). The first behavioral similarity was vandalizing the name list at Tropical cyclone naming, including identical name changes (such as Fernand --> Fernando and Isaias -->Isaiah). Compare [6] for the new account with [7] from a previous sock. This includes making such edits under the pretense of "updating the naming list" ([8]) even though no new list has been released. This is also a pattern of adding or removing protection tags. This account is also similar to others such as Nexto1227 (talk · contribs) and Johnunig (talk · contribs) created as sleeper accounts that then reached auto confirmed status with trivial edits. This user has vandalized Tropical cyclone naming with the same name changes as previous socks, at least one of which (PumpkinEditore (talk · contribs)) has been linked to Kingshowman. Diff for the current account: [9]. Diffs for previous accounts [10], [11]. Note the identical name changes. This also includes edit summaries with the pretense of "updating" the naming list [12]. Compare an older edit [13]. Compare also with Nexto1227 (talk · contribs) and Johnunig (talk · contribs), created as sleeper accounts that are crated to reach autoconfirmed status.
