Sockmaster diff added softwareadvice.com link in draft

Suspected sockpuppets

These accounts all appear to have been created to promote links on software advice. JustaZBguy (talk) 21:33, 7 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

As I started editing here six years before Mariamc1984 to claim I am his sockpuppet is not a reasonable accusation. Mariamc1984's first edit and My first 500 edits. To make such a ridiculous claim beggars belief. Why was it made? ♫ RichardWeiss talk contribs 10:53, 8 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

This is my mistake. I didn't mean to add your user to the list. I was copy and pasting into a notepad file to just keep track of who had contributed to different pages. I can see how this would've been very distressing. Deepest apologies! JustaZBguy (talk) 18:05, 11 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  •  Additional information needed - @
    diffs
to support your case. Please give two or more diffs meeting the following format:
  1. At least one diff is from the sockmaster (or an account already blocked as a confirmed sockpuppet of the sockmaster), showing the behaviour characteristic of the sockmaster.
  2. At least one diff per suspected sockpuppet, showing the suspected sockpuppet emulating the behaviour of the sockmaster given in the first diff.
  3. In situations where it is not immediately obvious from the diffs what the characteristic behaviour is, a short explanation must be provided. Around one sentence is enough for this. Sir Sputnik (talk) 22:19, 7 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • @JustaZBguy: In the interest of saving you some time, I'm specifically looking for diffs for RichardWeiss, Ag.gupta93, HealthMonitor, and the IP. The others are far too stale to act on even if they turn out to be sockpuppets. Sir Sputnik (talk) 23:12, 7 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Sir Sputnik: Hope those help. I removed RichardWeiss. He was added to the group by mistake. JustaZBguy (talk) 23:18, 7 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@JustaZBguy: You should have told me that on my talk page instead of leaving an unredacted message with your entirely baseless accusations. I could not have been the sock of someone who started editing 6 years after me and it would have taken you two minutes to work that out. ♫ RichardWeiss talk contribs 10:02, 8 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • There are only two of these, Ag.gupta93 and HealthMonitor, are not stale and there's nothing to connect these two. They don't overlap and their writing is quite different. The MGMT accounts also bear mentioning since there's 100+ of these accounts floating around. A bit of digging reveals that these are all students of the same workplace management course at the University of Melbourne, with usernames chosen systematically, presumably to help with identification and marking. Closing without action. Sir Sputnik (talk) 01:57, 8 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

This accusation of sock puppetry is entirely baseless, and I wouldn't know where to begin to refute it. Apparently, it has something to do with links to some kind of software advice with which I am completely unfamiliar, and to which I have never linked. HealthMonitor (talk.
