Suspected sockpuppets

SPA created to restore defamatory content to Rob Jovanovic. Too old for CU, and I'm involved so shouldn't drop the blockhammer myself. See OTRS#2019080910005901 for more info. Yunshui  15:22, 28 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment only: I have a hard time calling this sockpuppetry, the master is not blocked and the edits are more than two years apart. Borderline, but not enough editing history for either account to really investigate. I don't have OTRS access so leaving it for someone who does to review. (TonyBallioni?) Lousy sans-serif fonts. FTR, my comment above applies to the uppercase-aye master. Ivanvector (Talk/Edits) 18:16, 28 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • I see a couple of random examples of vandalism, but nothing that makes me think sock. I also don't see how any of what either suspect added could be called defamatory. I could see blocking PineappIe-with-an-eye under
    WP:IMPERSONATOR, but I'm not seeing this as a sock. -- RoySmith (talk) 18:29, 28 October 2019 (UTC)[reply

    • @Ivanvector: I left this open because you were waiting for somebody from OTRS. Is this still necessary, or can I go ahead and close this? -- RoySmith (talk) 17:34, 29 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Are you an OTRS volunteer? (I don't know how to check) Ivanvector (Talk/Edits) 17:57, 29 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, sorry for the confusion. I am not. I was just wondering if we still are waiting for one or we can proceed with closing this without one. RoySmith-Mobile (talk) 18:17, 29 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Closing with no action. If OTRS decides the content of the ticket is blockworthy they can act on it. I cannot justify any action based on the information that's been made available. Ivanvector (Talk/Edits) 22:38, 29 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
