00:21:30, 2 March 2017 review of submission by Tarcccut

Tarcccut (talk) 00:21, 2 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

How do I make a link in a page in Hebrew Wikipedia to a Page title of English Wikipedia?

Hello, Tarcccut. Thank you for your contribution to Wikipedia. If you want to add links in the English-language article, see
WP:Interlanguage links. If you want to add links in the Hebrew-language article, I believe the instructional page will be [1]. NewYorkActuary (talk) 00:31, 2 March 2017 (UTC)[reply

Hello, IP address. Did you have a specific question? NewYorkActuary (talk) 07:06, 2 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

How to contest a decline

My submission of

Draft:Kristina Pimenova was declined by User:SwisterTwister who calls it a social advertisement and is of the opinion that all the sources (including in-depth interviews and a television documentary dedicated to the topic) are mere 'announcements, self-profiles and notices'. It took them just a few seconds. Where and how can I contest this judgement? Lyrda (talk) 10:41, 2 March 2017 (UTC)[reply
]

Hello, Lyrda. Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia. The easiest way to "contest" the decision is to simply re-submit the draft and see what the next reviewer thinks. But before doing so, it might help your cause if you try to improve the submission. Right now, there is a lot of unencyclopedic detail that serves only to lessen the impact of whatever might be of interest to the general readership. You also might want to take a look at the criteria listed under
WP:ENT, with a view towards emphasizing the details that demonstrate satisfaction of those criteria. I hope this response has been helpful. NewYorkActuary (talk) 12:04, 2 March 2017 (UTC)[reply

Could you explain what you mean by 'a lot of unencyclopedic detail'? I've looked at other model articles, but they don't seem to be much different. Readers want to know some personal details, e.g. does she go to school is one of the most frequently asked questions about Kristina. I could add dozens of sources to the controversy section, but that wouldn't be due weight. As for
WP:ENT, I believe all three points are confirmed in the article. Lyrda (talk) 12:32, 2 March 2017 (UTC)[reply

Note I have asked for comments on the reliability of the sources at the Reliable Sources Noticeboard. Lyrda (talk) 18:45, 2 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
If there is no input from anyone, anywhere, at all, I will just move the draft to article space myself. Lyrda (talk) 21:57, 7 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Lyrda, someone will review it in due course. If you move it to mainspace you expose it to possible deletion if it does not meet the minimum standards. Roger (Dodger67) (talk) 23:20, 7 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
The standards for mainspace seem far lower than those for drafts. Compare
Draft:Kristina Pimenova to Lory Anderson, for example. Lyrda (talk) 11:03, 8 March 2017 (UTC)[reply

How do I add pictures to the article? CRUDEM Foundation (talk) 19:50, 2 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

You can see full details on adding images at
Wikipedia:Picture tutorial. Basically, you need to add [[File:filename.jpg|thumb|text below image]] - Happysailor (Talk) 20:02, 2 March 2017 (UTC)[reply
