Comment: is there a contemporaneous map (perhaps of the NDH)? I found it a bit hard to contextualise the area of operation with only modern boundaries. Grandiose (me, talk, contribs) 13:26, 31 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

G'day, the short answer is no. I have asked a couple of editors that have done map work for articles I've worked on before, but no dice thus far. The eastern boundary of the NDH and the current eastern B&H border are essentially the same (ie the Drina). Peacemaker67 (send... over) 13:54, 31 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I've explained the dashed line (the Vienna line, between the Italian and German zones), and reduced the map slightly, but any more and I'll have to start removing the locator pogs. Peacemaker67 (send... over) 09:48, 4 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

    • This seems a little awkward to me: "The original planned start date of 15 April was pushed back when the Italians had problems transporting to their start positions and later had trouble establishing lines of communication across the Adriatic." Specifically "...Italians had problems transporting to their start positions...". Perhaps consider something like: "The original planned start date of 15 April was pushed back when the Italians had problems moving to their start positions and later had trouble establishing lines of communication across the Adriatic due to a lack of transport." (suggestion only)
    • "In the wake of Francetić's offensive, the Germans moved pre-emptively to clear the area...", suggest "In the wake of Francetić's offensive, the Germans pre-emptively moved to clear the area..." (suggestion only)

  • Support: just a few nitpicks from me:
    • in the infobox, currently you use the strength field for units, I wonder if this shouldn't be changed
      • I assume you mean to a numerical strength. I've been back through the sources and haven't been able to get figures for the various units involved, so I think listing units is as good as it gets.
        • Sorry, I didn't explain that well. What I meant is that instead of "|strength1= ", you could use "|units1= " to display units instead of strengths. Only a minor point, though. AustralianRupert (talk) 05:08, 20 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
    • in the lead, should the quote "confederacy of local warlords" have a citation next to it?
      • whoops, misuse of scare quotes. Fixed.
    • "ten towns and 92 villages" --> "10 towns and 92 villages";

    • in the Planning section, the link to the Second Army (Italy) should be moved to the first mention (where you talk about General Mario Roatta);
      • Fixed.
