When creating an article about a hamlet, village, or city, use the following template and fill out as much information as you possibly can, even if it is a stub:

These are usually used to cite sources, between <ref> tags. Click each template for detailed info on how to use it.

- {{Canadian Parliament links}} - uses the official Parliament website and OpenParliament.ca IDs
- {{Toponymie}} - uses the Commission de toponymie's ID system for geographic locations
Stubs
Articles that don't have a lot of content are called stubs. For stubs that fall under the scope of this project, a template must be applied at the top of the article. Please apply whichever one of the following templates fits the best:
- {{Quebec-stub}} - general use for articles other than geographical articles. For Montreal specific articles, please use:
- {{Montreal-stub}} - general Montreal-related stubs
- {{QuebecCity-stub}} - general Quebec City-related stubs
- {{Ottawa-stub}} - for articles about Gatineau and surroundings
- {{Quebec-geo-stub}} - articles about the geography of Quebec
- {{Quebec-bio-stub}} - for use on Quebec biographical articles. For articles about politicians, however, please use:
- {{Quebec-politician-stub}} - for articles about Quebec politicians
- {{Quebec-hist-stub}} - for articles relating to Quebec's history
- {{Quebec-radio-station-stub}} - for radio stations
- {{Quebec-struct-stub}} - for use on articles about buildings and structures
