Wikimedia Serbia, in cooperation with the Civil Rights Defenders organization and the Pride Parade Belgrade association, organized "Wiki Loves Pride" edit-a-thon in writing new and improving existing articles in Serbian Wikipedia on topics of LGBT+ rights, persons, organizations, cinematography and all other topics that support human rights and differences. Edit-a-thon was held on September 14, at the Wikimedia Serbia office.

For the realization of this project and a positive attitude towards the LGBT population, Wikimedia Serbia was nominated for the “Duga” (eng. Rainbow) Award for 2017/18. The "Duga" Award was established by the Gay Straight Alliance (GSA) in 2013 and is being awarded each year on May 17th - International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia.
