Just a suggested blurb ... thoughts and edits are welcome. To keep the number of fatalities in perspective, I borrowed and tweaked one sentence from below the lead: "As a genus, brown snakes were responsible for 15 of the 19 snakebite fatalities in Australia between 2005 and 2015."
