About the articles "Trevor Cole" and "Lasher"

I'd like to suggest that the articles for "Trevor Cole" and "Lasher", two comics characters associated with Venom, are changed slightly.

For "Trevor Cole", I'd like it if the article was change because the character's name listed is the wrong one. This article is about the dark grey symbiote (that fans named Riot), but the name of his real alias is Ramon Hermandez, NOT Trevor Cole. I'm suggesting that the article's title is change to "Ramon Hernadez" and the name Trevor is replaced with Ramon since that's the real name of that character (I've already tried changing it myself, only to have it changed back immediately)

For the "Lasher" article, Trevor Cole is the real name of the character Lasher. The Lasher article has stated that Lasher's human host's name is Ramon, when it isn't. The two characters real name have been confused with each other. This article, too, should be changed so that Trevor Cole is said to be the host of the Lasher symbiote, not Ramon Hernadez.

Ramon's name is commonly mistaken as Trevor Cole, the human host to the Lasher symbiote. However, Marvel Toys (originally known as Toy Biz, which Marvel Comics owned) gave the character Lasher not only his official symbiote name, but also his alter ego's first name, Trevor (later, Marvel would add the last name, making the character's true name "Trevor Cole"). Also, the characters themselves were identified with their respective bodies in Separation Anxiety issues 2 & 3, with Ramon being identified as the dark grey symbiote's host, and Trevor being the host of the green symbiote (Lasher), despite the fact that part 4 further confuses the matter by messing up the male human host/symbiote characters names and switching around their identities.

Now, seeing as how both Lasher and Scream's (another comic character related to Ramon/Trevor and Lasher) names were officially revealed and confirmed by Toy Biz through action figures, and everyone has accepted these names because of Marvel Comics owned Toy Biz, why shouldn't Lasher's real name, Trevor, not be considered official? It was revealed through the exact same means (Toy Biz), along with the name Lasher. If needed, I can give sources and scans proving that Lasher's real name is Trevor Cole, NOT Ramon Hernadez, and the character people call Riot is Ramon, NOT Trevor. —Preceding unsigned comment added by WolfCypher (talkcontribs) 20:27, 5 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Trevor Cole / Lasher

I disagree: The confusing names of the Venom spawn was cleared up in the 2007 Spider-Man: Back in Black Handbook under the Symbiotes profile. These are the official names for the comic book incarnations of the characters based on the comic stories alone, and how the symbiotes' hosts were named. ToyBiz did their own thing, which is not considered official Marvel Universe canon. In the Handbook, Trevor Cole is named as having bonded with the grey/brown symbiote. Carl Mach is the green one, who also appeared orange in the comics and resembles the Lasher action figure. The Wiki entry for

Carl Mach is incorrect. He was never named Lasher in the comics. Ramon Hernandez is the orange one, not "Lasher" (called "Phage" incorrectly on Wikipedia). In summary: yellow - Donna Diego - "Scream" / brown-grey - Trevor Cole / green (with tentacles )- Carl Mach / orange - Ramon Hernandez / violet - Leslie Gesnaria.
