William Rutherford Douglas (9 August 1890 – 12 November 1917) was a Scottish amateur footballer who played as a goalkeeper in the Scottish League for Queen's Park.[1]

Personal life

From 1906, Douglas worked for the

First World War and died of cholera in an isolation ward in Baghdad, Ottoman Iraq on 12 November 1917.[1][2][3][4] Douglas was buried in Baghdad (North Gate) War Cemetery.[2]
