Yakov Vyacheslavovich Trenin (Russian: Яков Вячеславович Тренин; born 13 January 1997) is a Russian professional ice hockey forward for the Colorado Avalanche of the National Hockey League (NHL).
Playing career
Trenin was drafted 55th overall by the
Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) out of training camp.[2]
Trenin recorded his first career NHL goal on 7 December 2019, in a 6–4 win over the New Jersey Devils, becoming the 184th player in franchise history to score a goal.[3]
On 7 March 2024, Trenin was traded from Nashville to the
2024 NHL Entry Draft.[4]
