Zdeněk Košler
Zdeněk Košler (March 25, 1928 – July 2, 1995) conductor.
Life and work
Born in Prague, Košler came from a musical family.[1] His father was a member of the Prague National Theatre Orchestra, and his younger brother Miroslav was a choirmaster.[1]
After finishing his studies at the
Košler made many recordings, including a group of works by Mozart, Dvořák, and Tchaikovsky in Barking Town Hall with the London Philharmonic Orchestra. He also made concert tours to Austria, United States, and Canada. He toured most often to Japan, where he performed with various orchestras thirty times.[2]
