Zivit Inbar (born December 3, 1970) is an Australian-Israeli entrepreneur, public speaker, former adjunct professor,[1] and author.[2]
She is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors,[3] and Fellow of the Chartered Professionals in Human Resources.[4] Her focus and business expertise is around people, culture, leadership, ethics and performance.
Background
Zivit was born in Kibbutz Erez in Israel[5] and came to Australia in 2022 to gain her PhD.
Education
Most recently Inbar has attained certifications through the Harvard Kennedy School including, Executive Certificate in Public Leadership in 2023,[6] and Leadership and Character in Uncertain Times (2021) and Leadership Decision Making (2019).[7] She completed Health Board Essentials with the Victorian Health Association in 2022.[8][9]
Zivit earned her PhD in Strategic and HR Management from the University of Melbourne in 2010, with a research focus on strategic thinking and strategy implementation by Western companies in China.[10] She obtained a Business Coaching Certification from Open-Door Coaching in 2014 and attained her FCPHR in 2013.[7]
Career & Achievements
Zivit founded and is the CEO of DifferenThinking Consulting in 2016, as a culmination of her experience and advocacy for ethics and performance in leadership. Former roles include senior and global HR positions across APAC, Europe and the US.[9][11]
In 2016, Zivit co-authored and published The Ethical Kaleidoscope: Values, Ethics, and Corporate Governance, with Douglas G Long.[2]
In 2020 Zivit was a finalist in the Leadership Institute’s Empowered Women Awards.[12]
Boards, Committees and Advisory
Zivit holds the positions of Non-Executive Director, Rural Northwest Health,[3] Co-Chair, Harvard Alumni Entrepreneurs Australia, and since 2019 has been a Member of the Global Committees, for Standards Australia.[7] She is also a board member for the National Council of Jewish Women of Australia Victoria (NCJWA Vic).[13]

Zivit has experience driving high-level strategies and processes across global organizations (China, APAC, Europe, and the US).[8]

Zivit has been a frequent contributor to online platform Medium,[14] and been featured in articles for HRM Online, and HRD Online.[15]
She was featured for the 2017 CSIRO, ON Tribe forum,[16] and has been interviewed online across various topics, including the great resignation,[17] boardroom bias, and dyslexia.[18]
