İscehisar is a town of

Afyon and Ankara. It is the seat of İscehisar District.[2] Its population is 13,285 (2021).[1] The mayor is Ahmet Şahin (AKP
).

İscehisar has been identified as the ancient town of Docimium where the famous Docimaean marble was quarried which was used throughout the Roman Empire.[3]
