The 1944 Missouri Tigers football team was an
Big Six Conference (Big 6) during the 1944 college football season. The team compiled a 3–5–2 record (2–1–2 against Big 6 opponents), finished in third place in the Big 6, and outscored all opponents by a combined total of 224 to 176. Chauncey Simpson was the head coach for the second of three seasons.[1][2] The team played its home games at Memorial Stadium in Columbia, Missouri
.
The team's leading scorer was Paul Collins with 60 points.[3]
