Abdul Rahman Shamsid-Deen (born August 1, 1968) is an American retired professional basketball player.

College years

Shamsid-Deen played college basketball for the Providence College Friars, primarily at the center position.[1]

Professional career

Shamsid-Deen was selected by the Seattle SuperSonics in the second round (53rd overall pick) of the 1990 NBA draft.[1] He never played a game for Seattle, but went on to play abroad, in Spain, Puerto Rico, Germany and Turkey.[2]
