Aliabad-e Guneh

Aliabad-e Guneh (

Romanized as ‘Alīābād-e Gūneh,^[3] is a village in Mohammadabad Rural District of the Central District of Karaj County, Alborz province, Iran

At the 2006 census, its population was 3,803 in 974 households, when it was in Tehran province.^[4] At the most recent census in 2016, there were 3,256 people in 1,015 households, by which time the county had separated from the province and become a part of recently established Alborz province.^[5] It was the most populous village in its rural district.^[2]
