Aphrodite Glacier (68°47′S 64°32′W / 68.783°S 64.533°W / -68.783; -64.533) is a glacier 15 nautical miles (28 km) long flowing north to the east coast of the Antarctic Peninsula 3 nautical miles (6 km) west of Victory Nunatak.

History

The lower portion of the feature was first plotted by

Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey in December 1958 and November 1960. It was named by the UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee after Aphrodite, the goddess of love in Greek mythology.[1]
