Choconut Township is a township in
It is named for the native tribe of Choconut, or Ochugnut people, who settled the area prior to European/American settlers.[3]
Geography
According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 20.2 square miles (52 km2), of which 20.1 square miles (52 km2) is land and 0.1 square miles (0.26 km2) (0.5%) is water.
