Cosmo Lombino, also known as the Queen of Melrose, is an American
Early life
Lombino grew up in
Harlem, New York, as the son of a mobster.[6] Lombino's family moved to Encino, Los Angeles after her father was affiliated with the 1978 Lufthansa heist.[7][8]
Career
In the 1980s, Lombino began working as a stylist at a clothing store on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles, California.Madonna.[10][11] Lombino also worked as a drag queen on Santa Monica Boulevard alongside RuPaul.[12] In 2010, Lombino opened her own boutique, Cosmo's Glamsquad, on Melrose Avenue. She has since opened two additional boutiques on the same street: Cosmo & Donato, and Shoe Whore.[13] She has personally styled celebrities such as Nicki Minaj, Nicole Kidman, Beyoncé, Shaquille O'Neal, CeeLo Green, and Erykah Badu.[4][5]
