Dagsposten ("Daily Mail") was a Norwegian newspaper, published in Trondheim in Sør-Trøndelag county.

History and profile

Dagsposten was started on 2 October 1877 by Olai Olsen. He chose a connection with the liberal politician

Nazi regime in Germany.[2]

After a while it was allowed to remove the sub-header "Organ for Nasjonal Samling", which had caused a loss of advertisement and discrediting among the populace. It was abruptly stopped when the

Second World War ended in Norway on 8 May 1945.[3]
