Biała Podlaska County, Lublin Voivodeship, in eastern Poland.^[1] It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Drelów. It lies approximately 21 kilometres (13 mi) south-west of Biała Podlaska and 78 km (48 mi) north of the regional capital Lublin

.

On 17 January 1874 the Russian Army killed 23 Greek Catholics (Uniates) who were protesting against the Russification and confiscation of the church.^[2]
