The East line (

Macau peninsula, stopping at stations at Areia Preta and Portas do Cerco.[2] The line will be 7.8 km long.[3]

Construction started in 2023 by a joint venture led by China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation[4] and the line is expected to be complete by 2028.[5]
