Erlton-Ellisburg was an

2010 United States Census, the Erlton-Ellisburg CDP was discontinued and a portion of the old CDP was included in the new Ellisburg CDP.[4]

Geography

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP had a total area of 4.9 km2 (1.9 mi2), including 4.8 km2 (1.9 mi2) of land and 0.1 km2 (0.04 mi2) of water (1.06%).

Demographics

As of the

Latino of any race were 3.81% of the population.[1]

There were 3,517 households, out of which 24.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 47.5% were married couples living together, 9.6% had a female householder with no husband present, and 39.1% were non-families. 34.5% of all households were made up of individuals, and 16.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.26 and the average family size was 2.92.[1]

In the CDP the population was spread out, with 19.8% under the age of 18, 5.7% from 18 to 24, 29.6% from 25 to 44, 20.9% from 45 to 64, and 24.0% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 42 years. For every 100 females there were 84.9 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 79.8 males.[1]

The median income for a household in the CDP was $47,953, and the median income for a family was $60,170. Males had a median income of $47,438 versus $33,096 for females. The

poverty line, including 3.1% of those under age 18 and 8.7% of those age 65 or over.[1]
