The FAS Women's Super League is one the women's football league in Malaysia. Established in 2021, it is run by the Football Association of Selangor and features 14 teams. The Super League was created to provide a safe football atmosphere for women, in addition to being a platform to promote the amateur women's football scene in the state of Selangor.
Two teams have been crowned champions: Negeri Sembilan was the inaugural champion by winning the league in the 2021–22 season, while MBSJ FC won the league in the 2023 season.[1]
Competition format
Structure
As of the 2024 season, there are 14 teams in the Super League, and they will be drawn into 2 separate groups of 7 teams. During the course of a season, each team plays the others once at the centralized venue of Radia Arena. The top eight teams will advance to the playoffs, while the bottom six teams will advance to the FAS Women's Confederations Cup. Teams are ranked by total points, then goal difference, and then goals scored. If still equal, teams are deemed to occupy the same position. The top eight teams will start in the quarterfinal round, with the team having the highest points in the group stage receiving the highest seed in the draw. The team that wins the playoff final will be crowned the Super League champions.[2]
There is no relegation or promotion system in the league. Teams enter the Super League by invitation of the Football Association of Selangor.

Teams
There are currently 14 teams competing in the Super League, all of which are amateur-status teams. The Super League has regularly expanded since its establishment, most recently with the addition of FC Japan Malaysia, Galaxy Girls PJ and Perkemas FC.[3]

Past league champions
The final match of the Super League playoffs, determines that season's Super League champion. In addition to receiving the league trophy, the champion receives RM10,000 and obtains the highest drawing seed in the next season.
